Facta.news is a debunking project born in April 2020 and, together with the political fact-checking project Pagella Politica, is owned by the company Tfcf Srl. Since March 2021 Facta is a newspaper registered with the Court of Milan and since April 2021 is a member of the International Fact-Checking Network (Ifcn), a reality that brings together most of the fact-checking projects active in the world, protects their rights and promotes their initiatives.
Verificat is a fact-checking project active in Catalonia (Spain), engaged in both political fact-checking and media literacy activities. Born in April 2019 thanks to the support of the Open Society Foundations and other independent bodies, he is a member of the International Fact-Checking Network and a signatory of its Code of Principles.
Stars4Media is a program that encourages collaboration between professionals involved in the world of the media and operating in the various countries of the European Union, funding projects lasting a few months. Funded projects must be innovative and experimental, designed to develop potential new business models and useful to the public. Stars4Media’s partners are the Vrije Universiteit of Brussels (Vub), the Europe’s Media Lab (Fondation Euractiv), the European Federation of Journalists (Efj) and the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (Wan-Ifra). The project is co-financed by the European Union.
